Sue O’Dea

Leadership Stream Facilitator HB5

Drawing on 25 years of experience as both a consultant and business leader, Sue offers an integrated approach to designing and delivering strategy, culture and leadership development initiatives working closely with Boards, CEO’s, senior teams, line managers and HR professionals. She has experience supporting leaders and executive teams in Australia, Europe and the US in the retail, energy, consumer goods, professional services, telecommunications, technology, government and financial services sectors. 

In the past, Sue has worked internally in non-consultant senior roles in the pharmaceutical industry and as Head of HR for McKinsey & Company. During her 8 years with McKinsey, Sue served clients around the globe across a range of industries and sectors on short term and mulit-year transformation and leadership development  engagements. She continues to work closely with McKinsey as a Leadership Advisor.

Sue holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Queensland University of Technology, as well as a Masters of HRM and Coaching Psychology from the University of Sydney. She is accredited in a range of leadership assessment and adult development tools and has completed 5 years advanced Hakomi (somatic mindfulness based) psychotherapy training. She is an accredited mindfulness trainer with the Potential Project.
