Homeward Bound’s “Together for our Planet” campaign goal is to showcase the work within the Homeward Bound community towards a sustainable future, building momentum for positive individual and group action on climate change in the lead up to the COP26 Summit and beyond.
COP26 is the 2021 annual United Nations climate change conference. Homeward Bound will raise awareness about climate change and COP26, by being visible to the public, businesses, and politicians, showcasing sustainable practices from within our community and the individual women who are making a difference in their daily lives and going #OneStepGreener. Anyone can make a difference in the fight against climate change.

The #ClimateActionNow campaign began in 2018 during Homeward Bound’s 2nd voyage to Antarctica. Climate policy advisor and activist Sandra Guzman Luna brought the women of #TeamHB2 together, along with photographer Oli Sansom, to create spectacular series of images of women leaders in science holding her banner for climate action on the ice in Antarctica. Her campaign has been adopted by #TeamHB3 and #TeamHB4 during their Antarctica voyages, and now we invite women around the world to participate in support of the world of Homeward Bound leaders globally working toward solutions for the climate crisis as we approach COP26. .
