Meet Jodi Schmidt, Homeward Bound board chair and expedition leader of The Ushuaia voyage, currently navigating the waters of Antarctica. The heart and soul of Homeward Bound is with the 80+ women, with a STEMM background, accompanying Jodi on board, each bringing their unique expertise and passion to the table. Jodie and the team have come together with a shared purpose – to transform the way we lead and make decisions that shape our planet’s future. This journey is not just about reaching the destination; it’s about the transformative process they will undergo, individually and collectively.

Jodi comments, “We voyage for 19 days, and during those 19 days, we will undertake a range of challenges, progress in terms of complexity, and discuss how we will collaborate as scientists after the voyage to make a significant contribution and elevate our leadership and visibility to a new level.”
