Alison is a Geographer who uses remote sensing to evaluate sustainable agriculture practices and works with policymakers to improve environmental outcomes. When not researching, Alison can often be found hiking, rock climbing, cooking, or playing with her dog. In her past lives, she has worked as a science scuba diver testing space robotics and astronaut equipment, as a conservation scientist in Madagascar and the Amazon, and trained to be a zookeeper.
