Amita is a doctor in Melbourne, who has a special interest in population health and addressing social determinants of health, in particular in refugee and migrant health. She is interested in behavioural psychology and behaviour change as the key driver for preventative health. In her spare time, Amita loves to travel the world, dance, and spend time with her family and friends. She is excited about being involved in the Homeward Bound Project as she is passionate about creating a better future, a future that is built on the foundation of gender equality.
