Anjani Ganase is a coral reef ecologist at the Institute of Marine Affairs in Trinidad and Tobago (T&T). Her research focuses on assessing coral reef resilience and advises on strategies to reduce the threats corals face. Anjani is part of an NGO called SpeSeas that uses innovative tools to educate about the marine ecosystems around T&T. She is the Project Operator of the Maritime Ocean Collection, the first online collection of Streetview imagery of Tobago’s reefs. Anjani is also a weekly columnist for the local newspaper, the Tobago Newsday, and writes about the marine world and their connections to us.
