Anna began her scientific career in Barcelona with a thesis in cosmology, and then moved to Philadelphia (USA) to continue her research, where she later went on to study Earth’s climate and the global ocean . The goal of her research is to understand how the Earth works as a system and how it will evolve with a changing climate. She believes that a better world is possible and wants to drive the change necessary to achieve it. Now in Munich (Germany), she spends her days analyzing the impacts of climate on human well-being to advise policy-making, communicating solutions to climate change, and participating in educational projects focused on caring for the planet and people. She is the director of the documentary ‘Begin Again’ and the author of two books for children, ‘Mamma goes to Antarctica’ and ‘The Secret Life of Viruses’.
