ANNA CABRE

Research Associate at Institute of Marine Sciences
Barcelona, Spain, Spanish
Anna began her scientific career in Barcelona with a thesis in cosmology, and then moved to Philadelphia (USA) for a postdoc. But she needed something more grounded, so she transitioned into studying the Earth’s climate. Her research combines climate dynamics, physical oceanography and biogeochemistry, with the goal of understanding how the Earth works as a system and how it will evolve with a changing climate. She believes that a better world is possible and wants to promote the necessary change to achieve it. Meanwhile, she spends lots of time being the “mama” of two little children.
