Anna is a molecular biologist who completed her Ph.D. studies at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam. She then went on to conduct postdoctoral research at the Children Medical Research Institute in Sydney, Australia, where she studies genomic instability in cancer models.
Anna leverages her expertise in cell biology, genomics, and epigenetics to identify the genetic and epigenetic changes that contribute to tumour formation and progression. Her work aims to translate this understanding to develop new treatments that can target cancer cells more effectively and improve outcomes for patients.
Anna is also an avid nature lover and outdoor enthusiast, with a passion for biodiversity conservation and creating a healthier planet.
