(She/Her)
PhD Student
Anna is an interdisciplinary conservation scientist working at the conservation science-practice-policy interface. Anna is currently a PhD student in the School of Geography and Sustainable Development at the University of St Andrews researching the legislation, governance, and ecology of palm fruit harvest in the Peruvian Amazon.
She holds a BSc in Geography and a MSc in Conservation Science, and has previously worked for NGOs on international conservation, sustainable development, and wildlife trade.
In her free time, Anna volunteers as a leader with Girlguiding UK, organising a diverse programme of activities for young girls aged 10-14, helping to increase their confidence and give them a space where they can be themselves, have fun, build brilliant friendships, gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and their community.
