Process Safety Engineering Lead, Incitec Pivot Ltd Norwegian, living in Moranbah, Australia Anne is a chemical engineer working as a Process Safety Engineering lead for a leading global industrial chemicals manufacturer. She has worked in the Australian mining and manufacturing industry in a wide range of areas including Operations, Process Engineering, Quality and Process Safety.
Starting out as an operator, she went on to lead the operations function of a major turnaround and then leading engineering teams before taking on the role as Process Safety lead. Passionate about creating a space where people can feel safe to bring up issues or ideas, Anne fosters collaboration by developing relationships built on trust and regularly share her own experiences with others.
She believes in leading with integrity, honesty and compassion. Anne is driven to help others with reaching their potential, especially women in STEM and mentors multiple females, both future engineering students and current women working in the industry.
Anne loves to travel and lives in a rural Queensland Mining town with her partner, two children and pet dog.
