Caitlin Kramer
(She/Her)
Graduate (software) Engineer
Caitlin Kramer is a young professional who has recently completed her two year graduate program with Saab Australia and is now a fully fledged engineering with the title ‘Software Integration Engineer’.
This Australian born woman completed her studies of Robotic Engineering (honours) at Flinders University in 2021, and through that study had many incredible international adventures that have kick-started her career in STEMM. This includes a two week delegation in China, a twenty week work-integrated-learning opportunity in Singapore, and a six month internship in France.
On the side she has also participated (and won) an IET hackathon with a small group of peers, worked casually as a chaperone of a driverless vehicle, and done research with a small space startup company; to name a few other achievements.
But amongst all this experience, she still questions what engineering means to her and how she wants to play her career.
She loves art, craft, music, nature, dancing, family, and her two cats. She has a hobby list longer than she can ever hope to master; but is learning to play the viola, goes on long hikes, and wants to find a way to balance her creative outlets with her more traditional career.
With Homeward Bound, Caitlin wants to learn how to better work with and lead others so that they can together make a difference in her workplace, make a difference in her community, and make a difference for the life on this planet.
