
Cassandra Kane

Cassandra Kane is an Organisational Psychologist with a focus on organisational culture, performance and leadership. Cass currently serves as Senior Performance and Culture Manager at Herbert Smith Freehills, a global law firm. She is Secretariat of the firm’s global People and Culture Board and a member of the HR Regional leadership team. Her work centres on creating commercial, pragmatic solutions that are founded in industry best practice and psychology, supporting leaders and teams in having fulfilling experiences at work.
Over the course of her career, Cass has lived and worked as a HR professional in Sydney, Tokyo and London. She is passionate about the arts, in particular film and theatre, and loves bringing the principles of creative and authentic self-expression to her work with leaders and teams. To stay fulfilled and energised, Cass enjoys watching independent film and theatre, co-hosts a retrospective film podcast and brushes up on her acting skills by attending drama courses and participating in film and theatre projects.
Cass holds a Masters in Organisational Psychology and a Bachelor in Drama from the University of South Australia and is accredited in a number of psychometric and personal development tools.
