Cate Sinclair
Occupational Therapist at Vital Connections Allied Health
Glenluce, Australia
Cate is an occupational therapist and health researcher. She seeks to understand complex human and natural systems, and foster healthy connections. Connections which evoke sustainable well-being now and into the future. Cate completed her PhD in 2018, investigating links between the sensitivity of children’s nervous systems and family dynamics that develop in the context of exposure to threat and disconnection. She works with public organisations and privately with children and adults who experience persistent pain and complex chronic conditions. After a lifetime of closely observing nature and reading science, Cate is also now an activist, campaigning for climate action and biodiversity protection. Cate lives in the bush where she can be found figuring out permaculture, or wandering with her dogs, friends, and family.
