Chelle is inspired by, and contributes to, the progress and application of science in a number of disciplines including neuroscience, nanotechnology, innovation policy and digital technologies. She is passionate about harnessing the disruptive capacity of data technologies to achieve great economic and social benefit. Everyday, she advises the Commonwealth Government to solve some of Australia’s biggest challenges through the application of cutting-edge digital technology. Currently, she’s driving the use of emerging technologies that are critical to our future – technologies that are, at their core, trustworthy and ethical – through the application of ethical machine learning and privacy-preserving data technologies.
