Christina worked with the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) from 1999 – 2004, based in Rome, Italy. Her responsibilities included assisting in development of international standards, providing technical assistance to developing countries, and working with international experts. She began working for USDA as a risk analyst in 2004, conducting analyses, and providing training on PRA for national and international partners. She provided scientific support on standards produced under the IPPC and North American Plant Protection Organization. Since 2016, she served as National Science Program Coordinator, working with scientists on cross-cutting issues and identifying opportunities for collaboration with researchers.
