Erin is a marine conservation biologist turned ocean policy professional with broad experience connecting science with public policy to advance ocean health. She currently serves as the Program Director of the National Ocean Protection Coalition, where she manages the coalition’s programmatic and science workstreams to advance marine protected areas. Previously, Erin was the Ocean Policy Campaign Manager and Ocean Policy Specialist at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, where she advanced science-based policies to support sustainable fisheries management, ocean-based climate solutions, and tackle plastic pollution. She also served as a John A. Knauss Fellow with the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, advancing blue carbon initiatives across federal agencies.
