Glenna is a veterinarian with a specialisation in diagnostic pathology. She works for the British Columbia Ministry of Agriculture and the Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative doing disease surveillance and cause of death determinations on a wide range of species including livestock, pets, zoo animals and wildlife. Following vet school and a few years as mixed animal private practitioner, she chose to specialise in veterinary pathology as she feels it is a discipline with great potential to improve animal, including human, health higher upstream thanks to its ability to tackle a problem from the level of the molecule to the level of the ecosystem.
