Helle is a wildlife veterinarian and One Health researcher. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate studying health effects of lead (Pb) in Scandinavian brown bears (Ursus arctos). Helle is a European Veterinary Specialist in Wildlife Population Health and has worked in 20 countries as a veterinarian with multiple stakeholders including military, governments and non-governmental organisations. She has a strong passion for teaching and she is part of the team delivering the teacher training for postgraduate researchers at Nottingham Trent University.
