HOLLY NORTH

National Parks Ranger, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service
New South Wales, Australia
Holly wants to be inspired by and inspire others. She wants to influence people to change their behaviour to be more sustainable. But first she needs to iron out the unhelpful patterns in her behaviour and thinking. What better place to do this than on a ship in Antarctica? Younger years as a sailboat captain, trek leader in Nepal, cross-country ski guide in Australia and documentary filmmaker took Holly far and wide. She settled in Australia, lives on an intentional community in the coastal rainforest, and has worked for National Parks for 18 years as a GIS technical officer, planner, fire management officer and currently a Ranger.
