Imogen has worked in environmental consulting, academia and government within the fields of environmental planning, ecological conservation and natural hazard management. Imogen is passionate about improving the health of all landscapes, critters and people by driving the uptake of transparent, inclusive and evidence-based decision making approaches in environmental management. She particularly enjoys bringing together cross-disciplinary project teams to tackle wicked problems.
Imogen currently leads a small team of staff within the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. She partners with academics, policy experts and regional planners to develop and roll out frameworks, systems and processes for strategic forest and fire management planning. Imogen is also currently completing a Masters of Environment at the University of Melbourne, with a specialisation in climate change.
