Inaê Guion is a biologist and visual storyteller whose work focuses on the intersection between nature, humans and conservation. With over a decade experience as a researcher, field explorer and photographer, she addresses topics on wild animals conservation, human-wildlife coexistence, traditional cultures, natural resources exploitation and climate change. She also works as an environmental consulting mainly for energy projects, with experience in wildlife inventory and monitoring in tropical waters and forests. Inaê obtained a PhD in Applied Ecology from Universidade de São Paulo (Brazil) and a Master in Sciences. In pursuit of raising awareness for environmental issues she infuses her passion for photography, film and for the great outdoors into her work as a scientist. Recently founded Kākou, dedicated to the development of multidisciplinary projects and initiatives aimed for biodiversity conservation and environmental justice.
