While completing their chemistry PhD in Sydney, Australia at the University of New South Wales, Jeanette discovered the joy of science education and hasn’t looked back. She now works as the Education, Outreach and Diversity Director for the NSF Center for Aerosol Impacts on Chemistry of the Environment combining her chemistry knowledge with a passion for making science fun and accessible. Her work focuses on bringing scientists and communities together, through outreach and hands-on, interactive science materials. They live with their partner, two cats, and many plants in the place we call San Diego, which is located on Kumeyaay (Coo-me-eye) land.
