Canadian, living in Canada
Jennifer is an exercise physiologist and studies the effects of physical activity and sedentary behaviour on healthy ageing. She is enthusiastic about community-engaged research and a major goal of her program is knowledge translation. Jennifer’s work is also motivated by the strong connections between active living and a sustainable lifestyle. In her current role, she is committed to fostering high quality, publicly funded, post-secondary education because education, research, and innovation are the only way to solve the problems facing our world. Although she loves her work, Jennifer is happiest when she is outside, hiking, trail running, skiing, or camping.
