Jess is a graduate of Human Biology and Psychology with a Master degree in Social and Public Policy. Jess has worked for the public service and not-for-profit sectors to support health outcomes for Australians, using her knowledge and experience to connect and understand people.
Currently working in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health space, Jess works to contribute to closing the gap in health inequalities between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. She has previous experience in supporting mental health research in current serving and recently discharged military veterans, and their families to support policy change and clinical outcomes for the Australian Defence Force.
Jess is inspired by the message of Homeward Bound to create a more sustainable and healthier planet for all.
