KATRINA SEALEY

Katrina has a PhD in Astrophysics from UNSW and is currently leading the Data Science and Information Technology teams at the AAO combining her two passions, astronomy and enabling others to reach their potential. She mentors women in STEM areas as well as being strongly involved with science outreach and teaching astronomy courses when she can. She is looking forward to the Homeward Bound experience to expand her knowledge from a cohort of amazing women, gaining confidence and strengthening her voice. Katrina is married with two boys, a dog and Milly the cat. She enjoys traveling, exploring and skiing.
