Kelsie is an Engineering Team Lead, with experience spanning across leadership, maintenance, engineering, operations and projects, based in Western Australia. Kelsie is a Board Director of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Australia, member of the EWB Finance, Risk and Audit Subcommittee and Board Reconciliation Action Plan Champion.
Kelsie is dedicated to increasing diversity in the engineering sector and is actively involved with many initiatives, including as a mentor in women in engineering programs and holding a Strategy and Planning role within her company’s gender diversity group. As the former President of EWB Western Australia, Kelsie is passionate about empowering all engineers to act as leaders, problem solvers, and social change agents.
Kelsie was a finalist for the Western Australia Young Engineer of the Year award in 2019 and won the Emerging Talent category of the Australia Subsea Business Awards in 2016. Kelsie gained her Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Newcastle in 2014. She enjoys karaoke, photography, 4WDing and camping in her spare time.
