Kiara is a recent graduate from the University of Queensland and has taken up a position as an environmental scientist in Darwin, Australia. She is involved in a wide range of projects including: flora and fauna surveys, contaminated land assessment and mine pit water treatment with goals to move into rehabilitation and remediation of landscapes. Kiara is passionate about supporting regional students in STEMM after growing up in regional towns in Queensland. She combines her love of science with the enthusiasm of getting outdoors- even in the hot tropical environment she currently resides.
