KIRSTY ROBB

Kirsty has a degree in Biochemistry and Immunology and a multidisciplinary PhD spanning biochemistry, biophysics and microbiology. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Strathclyde working in collaboration with industry partners. She interested in antimicrobial resistance and the fight against “superbugs”. She loves the outdoors and enjoys Scottish hillwalking and mountaineering, skiing and kayaking. Kirsty is also Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expedition leader and holds the UK Mountain Leader Award. She is looking forward to learning valuable leadership skills and excited to inspire future generations of scientists.
