Kirsty earned her Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Sports) from University of Adelaide in 2014. She has since worked as a consultant engineer in South Australia, currently in the position of Principal Sustainability Engineer. Kirsty is a chartered environmental engineer, specialising in the fields of sustainability and air quality. She is passionate about not only taking effective action to limit impacts on the environment, but also in being able to communicate these complex issues in a way that is easily understandable to the general public.
She is the acting Chair of the Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand’s Emerging Air Quality Professionals group. Kirsty is looking forward to improving her self-confidence, gaining a network of like-minded inspiring women, and being to bring other women along on the journey, ultimately to face and overcome global issues more effectively.
