Climate change resilience, natural capital and sustainable finance expert Linda Romanovska has worked extensively as a policy consultant and advisor supporting international bodies, national and sub-national governments and decision-makers. Linda currently serves as an appointed expert member of the high-level European Union Platform for Sustainable Finance supporting the work on the EU taxonomy for sustainable investments, and her consulting and expert work revolves around urban climate change resilience planning and implementation, natural capital accounting and valuation as well as the mobilisation of sustainable finance for climate and environmental action. For the last ten years Linda’s roles have involved science-policy communication, evidence base for policy-making, support for policy development, implementation and evaluation including the management of funding programs for climate and environmental objectives, as well as capacity building and stakeholder engagement. Linda’s current PhD research focuses on advancing whole-of-life assessments and tripple-bottom-line valuation of urban green infrastructure.
