As a senior sustainability expert Linda Romanovska has for more than a decade worked extensively as an advisor supporting international bodies, national and sub-national governments and private sector decision-makers.
Linda currently serves as an appointed expert member of the high-level advisory body to the European Union – EU Platform on Sustainable Finance – supporting the development of the EU taxonomy of sustainable economic activities; helps the development of similar sustainable finance taxonomies in Australia, ASEAN and elsewhere around the world, supports the development of European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Standards, the upcoming Task-force on Nature-related Disclosures (TNFD) standard and other related policies.
Her consulting and expert work addresses sustainability broadly with additional in-depth expertise on climate change resilience planning and implementation, natural capital accounting and valuation as well as the mobilisation of sustainable finance for climate and environmental action.
Linda’s current PhD research focuses on advancing whole-of-life assessments and tripple-bottom-line valuation of urban green infrastructure/natural capital and its integration in sustainable finance frameworks.
