Linnea Spears-Lebrun is senior restoration ecologist who has been in the environmental consulting field for 15 years. She is a project manager and ecologist who provides mitigation solutions for her clients through avoidance, minimisation, and restoration of natural habitats. She received her BS in Environmental Science from the University of Florida and her MS in Ecology from San Diego State University.
Most of her career experience occurred in in the state of California in the United States. She has restoration experience in multiple habitats including wetland/riparian, coastal sage scrub, grassland, desert habitats, and vernal pools. Additionally, she has experience with wetland rapid assessments and is a state-wide trainer and practitioner of the California Rapid Assessment Method. In January 2020, (right before the COVID pandemic) she moved with her family to Durango, Colorado and is excited about expanding her geographic reach and starting restoration projects in the Four Corners region of the United States.
