Marnie’s extensive career history in leadership and project management has been driven by her desire to leave the world a better place. Combining her wealth of knowledge in tourism, extensive network of diverse people and skillsets, ability to manage multiple projects at once, and self-propelled nature, Marnie returned to Australia from leading an astro-tourism program in the Arctic and set about designating the Warrumbungle National Park as Australia’s first Dark Sky Place. Since then she has initiated tour programs at Siding Spring Observatory, delivered multiple international and domestic tours, managed Sydney Observatory and Founded the Australasian Dark Sky Alliance – the first charity of its kind in Australia.
