Monica is a maintenance manager with 15years experience in mining and more recently the chemical manufacturing industry. With a degree in Microelectronic Engineering, majoring in communications, Monica has worked across both underground and surface metalliferous mining operations as an electrical engineer.
After undertaking a Masters in Engineering Management, Monica started her leadership journey as an electrical maintenance superintendent, before moving into various other superintendent roles which included planning, engineering, reliability and mechanical maintenance. More recently, she has been a Processing Manager, Training Manager and is currently a Maintenance Manager.
Outside of work, Monica is a Mum to 3 boys and regularly volunteers in the school, soccer and church communities. She enjoys baking with her boys on weekends and is an amateur pianist currently preparing for her AMEB AmusA. Monica is looking forward to empowering the next generation of women to believe in themselves and successfully balance a career and family.
