Nicole grew up on the coast, spent her holidays exploring the outdoors and constantly asked questions about the world around her. With a keen interest in the everyday applications of science, she pursued an International Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. As a female industrial chemist working, studying and collaborating with industry, Nicole realised she needed to do more for women in this sector, so she ran away to join the Science Circus! Now, as a science communicator, Nicole facilitates workshops, encourages exploration of the sciences and shares her enthusiasm with students at Questacon, the National Science and Technology Centre.
