
Nina Tirnitz-Parker

Nina grew up in a wine region in Germany and studied zoology, genetics, anthropology and physiological chemistry before she found her passion in stem cells and cancer biology. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry, heads the Liver Disease and Regeneration Laboratory at Curtin University and serves on the Australian Liver Association Executive Committee. Nina loves travelling, documentaries, a good book or concert, and shares her passion for outdoor adventures and wildlife with her Australian husband and two active little girls.
