CEO, CLIMATICA | Advisor, Indufor North America Brazilian citizen, living in Italy Priscilla Santos is a lawyer and climate policy expert with over 15 years supporting efforts to reduce deforestation, increase resilience and foster investments and international cooperation towards climate action and justice. She is the founder and CEO of CLIMATICA, a consulting firm specialised in assisting organisations to put climate change and the people affected by it in the centre of decision making. She also serves as an Advisor to Indufor North America, providing sustainability strategy and international development consulting services with a focus on forestry and natural resources management. Priscilla has focused on assessing and developing climate finance and advocacy strategies to enhance climate ambition and gender responsive policies, particularly for philanthropy, international and civil society organizations. Formerly, she served as Senior Advisor to the governments of Brazil and Norway, working on mitigation, adaptation and climate finance policymaking and diplomacy initiatives. She has a postgraduate degree in Urban and Environmental Law and holds an MSc in Nature, Society and Environmental Policy from the University of Oxford. She is committed to connecting climate change and human rights through interventions that address the impacts of climate change while also contributing to social and gender inclusion. She was born and raised in the Brazilian Amazon and is a proud mother who truly believes in the importance of intergenerational climate engagement.
