Cardiologist & Senior Lecturer
Rebecca Kozor is a physician-scientist with roles as a consultant cardiologist at Royal North Shore Hospital and as an Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, Australia. She has specialist expertise in imaging the heart, particularly cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Rebecca is both inspired by treating patients with heart disease and passionate about tackling the unmet needs in heart disease through the cardiovascular research that she leads. Rebecca is also actively involved in education and advocacy of cardiovascular MRI and heart disease, through multiple leadership positions including being Vice President of the Australia New Zealand Working Group for Cardiovascular MRI.
Rebecca lives in Sydney, Australia, with her husband and four children, and loves travelling, pilates, running, and plant-based food.
