Renata Piazzon is the Climate Change manager of Arapyaú Foundation, which aims to contribute to building a society that reconciles socioeconomic development with environmental conservation, and general secretary of the Amazon Concertation, an initiative that aims to institutionalise a plural and democratic debate in Brazil for the sustainable development of the Amazon region. With more than 10 years of experience as an environmental lawyer, Renata graduated from PUC-SP, Schumacher College and Amani Institute and has a master’s degree in Environmental Law in the area of sustainable finance. She is a member of the Advisory Board of Instituto Akatu, of the Climate Reality Project and co-founder of two social innovation projects and was awarded by Chambers Latin America, Who’s Who Legal, The Legal 500 and ABRAPS Award as the professional who best represented the UN SDG 9 in Brazil in 2017.
