Renate’s 25 year career spans industry, university and not for profits. She has managed technology development in Australia and Germany and led industrial research projects with China. Renate is a Chair and Co-Founder of Solar Analytics, commercialising a new Australian solar monitoring technology. Renate is also Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales, leading the UNSW activity in the Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics and is Chair of the Australian PV Institute. The mother of two teenagers, Renate is passionate about using her skills and knowledge to making a difference through the increased uptake of solar energy.
