Renee is a dedicated and accomplished Chemical Engineer with a diverse background in industrial engineering and a strong focus on sustainability and innovation. Currently employed as a Production Engineer at Incitec Pivot Limited (IPL), Renee has demonstrated expertise in managing plant upsets, start-ups, and shutdowns, particularly within the ammonia, phosphoric acid, and granulation plants.
Renee holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) with Honours and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Earth Science from James Cook University, along with a recently completed MBA from Southern Cross University. Additionally, she has pursued specialised training in syngas plant operations and process plant layout and piping design.
Highly commended for the 2024 Exceptional Young Woman in Queensland Resources and runner up for the Rising Star of the Year with Women in Industry, Renee is recognized for her commitment to excellence and continuous professional development.
As an active volunteer, she contributes to various committees, promoting networking and development opportunities for young engineers and emerging leaders in the industry.
