Ros Green
Research Ecologist at University of Liverpool
Living in the United Kingdom
Ros is an ecologist specialising in avian research. Her current PhD research is focussing on the migratory movements of common shelduck and wildfowl more generally, in relation to offshore wind farms developments around the UK. She also works for the British Trust for Ornithology contributing to a range of diverse research on seabirds, waders/shorebirds and wildfowl. She is passionate about training and mentoring, and aims to inspire as many people as possible to engage in STEMM subjects, and understand the beauty and complexity of the natural environment. She is a bird ringing/banding trainer, and mentors many people both professionally and informally. She strongly believes that solutions to global issues can be only be found through global collaborations and initiatives, so is very excited to be part of TeamHB7.
