Rosa Castizo Robles is leading the Observatory «La Rábida» for Sustainable Development and Climate Change, connecting institutions of 22 countries. She is especially focused on regenerative solutions to transform food systems, as an important driver of global change.
From 2005, Rosa has been working broadly in sustainability, public policies and international cooperation within national Ministries and United Nations, living 4 years in Peru. She is an active participant in high level forums on climate change and environment, including 8 different COP (UNFCCC), and speaker / storyteller in more than 80 events in 12 countries.
Rosa has experience applying exponential technologies to solve climate change, as part of the Global Solutions Program, at Singularity University (NASA’s Ames Research Center, US). Moreover, she is involved in social impact communities as a fellow in Acumen (2021) and Opportunity Collaboration (2018).
Rosa has the purpose to re-connect institutions and people with nature. She is a conscious citizen, environmentalist and zero waste activist, who lives without trash, minimizing her environmental footprint from 2012. In 2024, she hopes to reach 5 years without flying and living within the planetary boundaries, with a nature positive approach.
