Sallie is a pharmacoepidemiologist and medicines policy researcher. She is a leading authority in leveraging population-level ‘big data’ to examine the use and impact of prescribed medicines in routine clinical care. Sallie designs research to inform clinical and policy practice. Sallie is passionate about capacity building and growing talent in science. Sallie was inspired to join Homeward Bound to be part of a network of women leaders who value science, evidence and collaboration in responding to global issues. When she is not working, Sallie loves swimming and spending time with her family, in particular her nephew and six nieces – many of whom are aspiring scientists.
