Sarah is an adviser within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Sarah has experience in developing national policy, supporting the design and implementation of impactful environmental regulation and whole-of-government data sharing reforms. Having a background in organic chemistry and medicinal drug development, Sarah is skilled in understanding and translating complex scientific information to inform policy design. Sarah is a strong communicator and enthusiastic collaborator, and is excited to leverage the global network of Homeward Bound to enhance policy outcomes.
With qualifications in chemistry and politics and policy, Sarah is passionate about creating evidence-based policy to enhance national and global outcomes, as well as improving gender equality in STEMM. Sarah is a published scientific author and has previously worked as an academic at the Australian National University. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys running around Canberra, trying out new baking recipes, songwriting and family board game nights.
