Stephanie is an earth scientist, communicator and educator. She has a degree in geology and geophysics from the University of Sydney and a PhD from the University of Cambridge. After a short stint as an exploration geologist, she
changed direction to pursue a career in science communication, completing an MSc at Imperial College London.
Stephanie worked as a policy advisor at the UK Parliamentary Office of Science & Technology (POST), and as an editor at CSIRO in the Australian and Pacific Climate Change Science Programs. She volunteered with CSIRO’s Scientists
in Schools outreach initiative, which inspired her to establish her science education company ‘Scientifically Speaking’ in 2015, promoting scientific literacy, inclusivity and accessibility in primary schools. She is excited to develop her leadership skills to help empower and enable the next generation of STEMM leaders.
Stephanie is married with three children and enjoys ballet and playing the piano and harp.
