Stephanie Woodrow
IT Project Manager

Stephanie has a diverse background, with experience in research management, biomedical science, data analytics, and IT project management. She holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Genetics from the University of Otago, and a Masters of Applied Data Analytics from the University of Melbourne.
Stephanie’s graduate research combined several of her interest areas, focusing on the intersect between analytics, equity and health, and evaluating how the impact of gender bias in healthcare AI models.
Stephanie is also a passionate open water swimmer, spending much of her time (year round) swimming in the local Christchurch bays, and competing in marathon-distance swim races. She also loves spending time under the water, exploring the ocean through scuba diving and free-diving.
On land, Stephanie enjoys creative writing in all its forms, and is in the process of editing her first novel. She also runs a regular Substack newsletter, In Search of Why, that seeks to provide answers to wide ranging topic topics to help people understand more about the world around themselves and encourage them to be inquisitive.
