Dr Suzie Lavoie is a researcher in the field of youth mental health. She leads the Orygen Research Enablement and Facilitation team which aims to improve the conduct of research, as well as associated outcomes. Orygen ‘s mission is to reduce the impact of mental ill-health on young people, their families and society.
Originally from the French part of Canada, married to a Swiss Italian man and mother of a gorgeous Aussie boy, Suzie embraces diversity and is always ready for new challenges that will open her horizons. She is passionate about reducing her impact on the environment and she actively engage in community awareness and policy advocating activities.
Suzie participated in the 4th cohort of the Homeward Bound program.
