As a climate change activist, Tiffini is dedicated to sustainability education, STEM advocacy, environmental stewardship, and social justice. Her journey has evolved from chemist and full-time mom to sustainability consultant and doctoral candidate. She received a B.S. in Chemistry from Spelman College and a M.S. in Polymer Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. As a doctoral candidate in Sustainability Education at Prescott College, Tiffini is investigating STEM education and how sustainability and environmentalism affect learning and career outcomes for historically underrepresented groups in the field, namely women. Her research aims to empower more people to solve global grand challenges.
