Veronique’s research focusses on improving the management of our natural environment through multidisciplinary projects that combine social, environmental and economic information. She uses integrated bio-economic modelling to evaluate the impact of different land management strategies on people and the environment. Veronique is currently leading a project that focusses on applying economic analysis to the management of natural hazards to help decision makers get better value for money from public investments in hazard mitigation. She is both Colombian and French, and loves living in Australia.
