YALIMAY JIMENEZ

PhD Candidate at Curtin University
Perth, Australia
Yalimay is a Geochemist, who was born in Venezuela, a vibrant South American country. She worked on Geochemical Mapping for mineral exploration and environmental purposes during nearly 10 years, covering urban and remote areas, such a Guiana Shield, a place where she fell in love with the enchanting beauty of tropical rivers but also understood the power of nature and its fragility. In 2015, she moved to Australia to study, obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Hydrogeology at UWA, and now, she is on her 2nd year of her PhD at Curtin University. She is also a mother of two children, coffee lover and amateur photographer.
